The Blackwell Hall is a purpose built, modern building designed to serve the needs of our local community. It is used for both church, community and private events. All bookings are currently subject to the Terms and Conditions of the hall.  
 

The person hiring the hall needs to be 25 years and over and responsible for signing the Terms & Conditions form. 

Blackwell Hall is the perfect venue for a social gathering, for regular hire for classes or for Weddings a Baby Shower, Christening party, fundraising events etc.  We have hosted many memorable occasions, experiences and events for people within our community.

 

The main hall measures 7.6m (25ft) x 13.4m (44ft). Approx 14ft in height and has a maximum capacity of 120 people.

If you require seating at tables, the hall can accommodate 90 people.

We have 16 folding rectangular folding tables and 130 plastic stacking chairs (each table can accommodate up to 8 people). We also have children’s tables and chairs, which can accommodate around 25 children.

​

 The hall has a Proscenium arch stage measuring 29ft (8.8m) x 15ft (4.5m) with curtains and power points. Ideal location for a DJ.

​

The kitchen is fully fitted with a self-ignite double oven with 6 gas ring hob. There is also an electric double warming cabinet, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a plumbed in urn.

​

We have separate ladies and gents’ toilets and a fully disabled WC. Baby changing facilities can be found in the ladies, gents and disabled WCs.

​

There are 15 car parking spaces including a disabled space. These spaces are shared with the church attendees.

​

The Music on a Saturday needs to be turned off at 11:00pm and on a Sunday at 10.30pm.

​

Should you wish to supply a Bouncy Castle then there is an additional charge of £25.00 in addition to the hall hire costs.
